Christina is a magnificent Clay artist. Each piece is a one of a kind creation by hand on a potter's wheel. When the clay is still moist she brushes the interior surface of the bowl with a thin layer of a black clay slip (liquid clay), then hand draws and carves each design out of the slip. After bisque firing, a lead-free transluscent colored glaze is applied and each piece is kiln fired to 2350 degrees making them safe for food and liquid use. All pieces are also dishwasher and microwave safe.
